Bush May '73 report backdated to fake Honorable Discharge

Wed Sep 08, 2004 at 10:20:18 PM PDT

60 Minutes showed the memos on screen. They were readable especially the last one dated Aug. 18th 1973.  But they too quickly pulled away from the screen to highlight only one quote from it.  "I'm having trouble running interference and doing my job."
The rest of that memo in particular is more telling.

But first to the earlier memos

But first to the earlier memos

19 May '72 Referring to flight physical.  "Says he will do that in Alabama if he stays in flight status"  IF!!! Bush doesn't want flight status because it means a physical.  Why not?

1 August '72  Killian denies his request for transfer to 9921 Air Reserve Squadron.  Was that in Alabama. Why? Because...  "The transfer was
not allowed. Officer has made no attempt to meet his training certification or flight physical. Officer expresses desire to transfer out of state including assignment to non flying billets"

Again why doesn't George W. Bush want to fly?

In toto
Aug. 18, 1973

 SUBJECT: CYA

Staudt has obviously pressured Hodges more about Bush.  I'm having trouble running interference and doing my job.  Harris gave me a message today from Grp regarding Bush's OETR and Staudt is pushing to suagarcoat it.  Bush wasn't here during rating period and I don't have any feedback from 187th in Alabama.  I will not rate. Austin is not happy today either

Harris took the all from Grp taday.  I'll backdate but I won't rate.  Harris agrees.

Important things to note. Staudt pressured Hodges more....this means that  the pressure on Hodges  had been applied before.
"Harris has a message today from Grp regarding Bush's OETR and Staudt is pushing to sugaroat it."
OETR is Officer Evaluation Training Report.  He's under pressure to"suagarcoat" it.  He won't sugarcoat it.  Because...."Bush wasn't here during rating period and I don't have feedback from 187th Alabama"  He goes on "I  will not rate"  Rating an airman's performance
e is what an OETR does.  Austin??? person or town???

CRUCIAL sentence coming up.  "I'll backdate but I won't rate."  (Why did 60 Minutes do nothing with this?)

WHAT DID HE BACKDATE BUT NOT RATE.  THIS...  THE MAY 1973 ANNUAL EVALUATION  AKA KNOWN AS OETR.

"Lt. Bush has not been observed at this unit during the period of this report. A civilian occupation made it necessary for him to move to Montgomery, Alabama. He cleared this base on 15 May 1972 and has been performing equivalent training in a non-flying status with the 187 Tac Recon Gp, Dannelly ANG Base, Alabama."

Under political pressure from a superior, Staudt, a man with with political connections, they were being told to give George Bush a buy. Harris and Killian observe he wasn't there and and that is why they can't rate him.  Note that in Killian's Aug. 18th memo he knows full well that George wasn't in Alabama either.

3) In May 1973, his two superior officers at Ellington Air Force Base [Texas], Lieutenant Colonel William D. Harris Jr. and Lieutenant Colonel Jerry B. Killian could not perform his annual evaluation covering the year from May 1, 1972 to April 30, 1973 because, they wrote, "Lt.

Okay it took a little thinking and a little piecing together.  Under pressure from a politically connected superior, Killian and Harris backdated an TANG official document for George W. Bush.  I can only surmise that this document at this late date...the real date is Aug.18th,1973 not May 1973 because Bush was going to Harvard Biz School any day now and he needed this in order to get his honorable discharge.

George Bush is like the wastrel frat boy who gets 60% in a test but has friends who convince the teacher to award him 100% anyway.

Does my detective work hold up?
